• Daily missions included resolving import/export stuck shipments, reviewing shipping docs, applying for special import/export permits, communicating with external stakeholders (Customs, brokers, forwarders) and internal stakeholders (Transportation, Origin Management, Logistics, Legal), etc.
• Worked with the origin's customs team to seek solutions to problems and improve performance. (China, Taiwan, Japen, Australia, India)
• Managed Google’s contract manufacturers to ensure that shipping documents from the origin are compliant and up to Google’s standards. (tariff classification/ Preferential origin/ Incoterms/licenses/export controls/valuation)

• Supported the EPS/EPM/OPM/Engineers of 30+ projects, stretching over Pixel, and Wearable for all build stages (NPI/NCU/MP).
• Managed 20+ Contract Manufacturers to ensure accurate shipping documents and vet for any import restrictions at destination. Approximately 100+ shipments per week.
• Daily communication with Google’s service providers.
• Successfully applied for 1000+ TW NCC and CN CCC permits for both pre-production and mass production uncertified devices going to Taiwan and China.
• Successfully applied for 20+ India IMEI certification for pre-production and mass production uncertified devices going to India.

• Managed customer service activities - coordinate with XFN teams to gather the right resources to support our clients.
• Account manager/POC of 2 priority accounts of Nokia. Resolve client’s issues related to material delivery schedule, supply and demand forecast, purchase order creation, etc.
• Worked closely with forwarders, couriers and brokers to ensure timely delivery. Vet shipments in advance to prepare required import/export permits where required.
• Generated count sheets on all inventory by required cycles and reconcile. Annual for tracking count progress throughout the year. Protects corporate reputations and employees by facilitating legal and responsible trading.

• Optimize storage and inventory plans; conduct annual warehouse “house-cleaning” to scrap leftover materials and boost space efficiency. Helped reduce overall operation costs by 5% for each account.

• Prepared for price quotations for clients, such as service and insurance rates, port charges, duty and tax estimates, storage fees, etc.
• Advise clients on the appropriate transportation means (air /sea) by taking volume, weight, capacity, delivery timeline, budget and safety into consideration.
• Determined method of shipment and prepared bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents, and contact with shipper/Broker/Carrier to ensure that the shipments is shipped out smoothly.

• Communicated with worldwide customers/agent on shipment delivery and clearance status, such as EDT, delays, damages, etc.
• Checked import and export documentation to determine cargo contents, and contact with container yard on distribution and storage arrangements.
• Resolved conflicts and negotiated mutually beneficial agreements between parties.
• Containerized cargo to bulk cargo, on the basis of information and detailed analysis of the ocean freight market on a daily basis.
• Monitored dangerous goods may be offered for carriage or taken aboard marine pollutants declaration(or a combined declaration) has been given to the master or operator as per the the MS.
