Taiwanese film producer who is based in both New York and London. She has participated in many TV and film productions with experience from development, production, post-production, to distribution. Her expertise is particularly in international co-production projects and she skills at integrating cross-country resources. In her career, Amy has closely collaborated with many well-known filmmakers such as directors Huang Jianxin, Zhang Meng, Sylvia Chang, Bhutanese director Pawo Choyning Dorji who was nominated for the Academy Award for Best International Film, and French director Rachid Hami who was twice selected for the Venice Film Festival, among other international filmmakers.
Amy has facilitated the shooting of the TV series "Wake Up 2" in Jordan and the film “Run For Love” across eight states in the USA. She also produced “Special Couple” the first official China-UK co-production film. Her other works include films like “Never Gone 2,” “Highflash,” and “My Sunshine” In 2020, her short film “Taipei Suicide Story" was selected for the Cinéfondation competition at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2021, the film "American Girl" won four awards at the Golden Horse Awards. Her 2022 French film "For My Country" was selected for the Venice Film Festival. In 2023, "Tales of Taipei" was chosen as the closing film for the 60th Golden Horse Awards.
Apart from her production and post-production skills, Amy has also directed several music videos in the USA and completed her self-written and directed feature film "The Greater Good" in 2020, which was released on streaming platforms in 2021. In recent years, she has been actively involved in script development and international producer training education. She has served as an instructor for the Master's course in Film Directing at the New York School of Visual Art and at the Hero's Journey program in Taiwan, helping to nurture young talents.
