Autobiography
I grew up in a single-parent family. My father is a frugal and diligent public servant. I have been taught by my family to value work. I began my career at Cycling Sports Group (CSG) in 2012. During these years, I learned how international corporations operated global businesses and began to have the broader concept of global supply chain. More importantly, CSG taught me how important it was to work as a team player. At CSG, all tasks could not be accomplished without working together with others. Everyone had a role to play. Even a seemingly simple task required skills from different departments. I left CSG in 2016 for a new position as a salesperson at Primatek. Primatek is the branch office of Campagnolo in Taiwan. My experience at CSG helped me learn quickly in my new role at Primatek. I gained considerable experience of promoting business sales, managing production and delivering customer service. Above all, both CSG and Primatek have strong brand images which take a lot of time and efforts to develop. It had been a great opportunity for me to understand the importance of a good brand image in creating favorable impressions on consumers. I started working for JD Components as an E-Bike Sales Representative after leaving Primatek. The E-Bike Sales department was deeply troubled by the US-China trade conflict and the EU anti-dumping measures at that time. In addition to sales targets, everyone in the Sales department must find new ways together to help customers ship orders to planned destinations. JD Components gave me the opportunity to work dependently and independently at the same time as a team player. I was responsible for making proposals for inventory management and product plans together with my team members and writing product catalogue on my own. Even though the company did not succeed in making the transition when I left, I was inspired to study international relations and global events. As a graduate student in the Institute of International Politics, I participated in academic seminars and lectures held either by our institute or by other international institutes. I was an announcer, a translator, an interpreter, and a volunteer helping our institute organize academic conferences. I am deeply grateful to everyone who has helped and taught me. Most importantly, I enjoyed working with people and solving problems. I wish to continue my career in a corporation to make contribution as a team player.
