• Commissioning Mechanical Engineer of Power Plant (Boilers and BOP accessories & all fans and water Feed pump alignment and commissioning)
• Execution of High-Pressure piping Erection and Commissioning works as per Isometric and P&I Drawings.

• Inspection of Boiler as per P&I Drawing.
• Carry out Slow firing and alkali boil out of Boiler as per standard and find out requirement of DM water, Pump, wood, Recommended Chemical, and its quantity, blow down piping assembly.
• Inspections of steam drum internals and Main steam line safety valve internal inspection.
• Pre-commissioning checking of fans, Pump, Piping and its supports, duct supports.
• All Pumps alignment, daily maintenance work and all rotary equipment bearing and Mechanical Seal Replacing work.
• Inspection of the gear box oil sleave and seal conditions.
• Inspections of Main steam line and boiler supports inspection and set the spring hanger supports.
• Co-ordination with Technical drawings / Design department for necessary changes in routing of piping.
• Signing of protocols, Records prior to commissioning of boiler.
• Inspections of turbine lube oil and control oil, overhead oil piping and acid cleaning of above oil system piping.
• Operating the boilers up to customer’s satisfaction and hand over the same with all technical specifications.
• Commissioning of all the valves including safety valves and float the same according to their set pressure.
• Responsible for Planning and organizing preventive maintenance schedules of equipment’s to reduce time and increase operational reliability for power plant.
• Communication and Co-ordination with plant head and related departments heads like Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical for daily planning activities for operation and maintenance.
• Identifying areas of operational obstruction/breakdowns and taking steps to rectify the areas of concern.
• Attending meetings to discuss day-to-day activities, technical discussion with client.
• Annual Shut-down of Boiler for overhauling and inspection. Prepare the list of Shut-down activities identity equipment for Predictive Maintenance and Supervision of Shut-down and Maintenance Jobs.
• Generation of power plant report for power generation, fuel consumption, heat rate, boiler efficiency, auxiliaries power consumption, plant availability and plant load factor
• Walk down inspection of construction work completion.
• Generator air leak test.
• Closed Cooling water- and Air-cooled condenser line flushing.
• Reinstalled the permanent lines after flushing done.
• PIG cleaning in Natural gas system.
• Air Blowout cleaning in various pipelines (Turbine H2 gas, Fuel Gas, Fuel oil, GT air intake, BSDG, Gland Seal Steam, Etc).
• No load and on load testing of all kinds of Motors with Pumps and Fans for BOP.
• Preparation and installation of Flushing Temporary lines (Lube Oil, Lifting Oil, Seal Oil and all Hydraulic systems, GT air intake heating water, closed cooling water, Air cooled Condenser).

• Turbine Lube oil all valves, filters, and cooler normalizing.
• Turbine Lube oil pressure set up by throttling valves.
• Vapor Extraction fan normalizing and pressure setup each line.
• Turbine Shaft lifting oil pressure setup.
• GT turning gear pressure setup.
• GT HCO normalizing.
• Fuel gas system charging.
• GT air intake charging.
• Generator H2 gas system charging.
• Instrument and service air compressor commissioning.
• Steam Blow out in HRSG Steam lines.
• Commissioning of HRSG, HRSG Sampling system, Closed Cooling Water system, Air Cooled Condenser, BSDG, and Natural Gas System.
• Commissioning Chemical Dosing System for BOP.
• Commissioning of Overall Equipment of Power plant Fans, Feed Pumps, Diaphragm Pump & Vacuum Pumps, Pulverize and Coal Feeders, Cooling tower fans.
• Preparations of work schedule, work progress follow up.

• Organize, coordinate, supervise and control the operational activities in a plant and periodically check all samples by physical verification.
• Manage the complete power plant operation correctly and efficiently as per laid down procedures.
• Regular inspections to ensure all the personnel in the operation department are diligently recording the defects of plant.
• Prepare maintenance schedule and carry out.
• Prepare monthly shift schedules for the entire operation team.
• Preventive maintenances for all boiler equipment.
• Take responsibility for achieving good tasks within time.
• Operate and monitor the functions of the standby equipment’s.
• Finding the abnormalities of the running equipment and do the corrective maintenance.
• Attend the Punch list works.
• Training all systems to Client Operators
• Pump maintenance & replacement of spares. (Mechanical seal, oil seal, bearing & alignments.)
