The company's main products are power ICs, with our department focusing primarily on LDO and Buck ICs. My main responsibilities include IC testing and validation.
Before initiating a new project, I conduct benchmarking on ICs from several competitors, create schematics, and select peripheral circuit components such as inductors, capacitors, and resistors. Testing is then performed under the same BOM and layout conditions.
During the testing and validation process, I rely on my expertise in power electronics to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the results.
After completing IC testing and validation, I collaborate with R&D engineers to discuss future IC development, including behavior, power-on mechanisms, and protection features.
After confirming the IC specifications, I conduct testing and validation based on the initially defined specifications to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
