I have been working with the world's largest package delivery company for almost 5 years now as an administrative assistant.
In logistics, my main tasks are monitoring domestic and international shipments on small packages and air freight, report generation, data entry and providing timely updates to customers.
We do pro-active monitoring thru email, we constantly provide customer milestone regarding its shipment, we mitigate the exception/delay remarks, while the package is in transit or any potential issues before they create a challenge on delivery.
As a second level escalation also, we specialized in identifying, prioritizing, and resolving issues of the package that cannot be handled at the initial level of support or management. An outbound call is initiated to the facility / center Operations and to the customer / client for smooth delivery transactions.
To ensure urgent and critical shipments delivery are made promptly and efficiently.
Customer inquiry should be address properly with complete and correct information, need to provide timely response in polite and professional manner.
As my second working experience I can say that I am more improved in my line of work because I believe practice makes progress.
