Education and Experience
Scouting Leadership:
During university, I served as a Scout troop leader, often communicating and discussing with members. Even when opinions clashed, I effectively presented each viewpoint. I am skilled in reading others' emotions, acting as a group mediator, and handling interactions with tact. Additionally, as the organizer of a leadership training camp, I learned to coordinate progress among leaders and communicate with people of different personalities.
Seven-Eleven Store Clerk: a store clerk at Seven-Eleven, I learned that behind the hard work of service, high professionalism and emotional intelligence are required. Even when faced with unreasonable customer demands, rational judgment is crucial. Greeting customers with enthusiasm and a smile is my service principle. I believe in putting customers first, earning their trust, building a personal brand, and generating revenue for the company.
Exchange Student Experience: my junior year, I participated in an exchange program in the Czech Republic for a year. I once traveled alone to the Czech countryside as a couch surfer, sharing cultural, lifestyle, and geographical experiences with my host family. I also organized a camping trip around Iceland with international backpackers, learning the importance of working together towards common goals. In my senior year, I participated in an industry-academia cooperation project, researching the antibacterial properties of health products, reading numerous foreign literature, and engaging in PCR bacteria identification experiments. Discussions with professors during meetings led to presenting my research at the National Sun Yat-sen University herbal symposium, enhancing my meticulous thinking and efficiency.
Semiconductor Industry Experience: the critical role of semiconductors in the global industry, I joined a semiconductor equipment company immediately after graduation. To quickly understand the industry, I chose the sales department, handling business with TSMC. Working with TSMC clients taught me the importance of thoroughness and attention to detail, prompting me to excel in every task assigned. Later, I applied for an internal transfer to the photolithography equipment department as a technical engineer, working on equipment refurbishments and parts testing, and taking courses on photolithography processes, gaining insight into wafer manufacturing.
Professional Skills Development: sales experience honed my interpersonal skills, including asking the right questions at the right time, diplomatically expressing my stance on unreasonable matters, and building resilience. My engineering experience instilled a habit of creating SOPs and management forms, optimizing team efficiency through collaboration.
Further Education: six years in the workforce, I chose to pursue further education in the Digital and Technology Program at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, graduating with a master's degree in 2024. During these two years, I learned more about semiconductor-related courses and Python, focusing my thesis on using machine learning and deep learning to identify wafer defects, combining real-world problems with academic knowledge to bring cost-saving solutions to my company.
Hobbies and Interests
Exercise Routine: I have a weekly exercise routine, enjoying basketball, table tennis, fitness, and hiking. Good exercise and dietary habits keep me energized and improve my work performance. English Practice
Toastmasters Participation: During my studies, I joined Toastmasters to practice English fluency, deliver clear and confident presentations, and create simple and effective PPTs. This experience has enhanced my ability to clearly express my opinions in company reports. I regularly practice reading English using BBC and stay informed about international trends, using English movies and apps to improve speaking and listening skills. I also continue to advance my English through supplementary classes, creating a weekly English environment.
