Summary
Working at an accounting firm has given me an understanding of financial statements.
In HSBC, the position of fund accountant has further deepened my understanding of financial products and enhanced my comprehension of fund accounting structures. I have also become more adept at handling daily tasks under time pressure with proactive attitude.
Since early of 2022, I started to explore field of Investment Restriction Guidelines and started to serve as contact window to assist clients set up the required rules.
In the meantime, I have an opportunity to transfer to fund reconciliation team. Combine the different experience, I can have more comprehensive understanding for fund administration from various perspectives.
During the period, I joined the projects to migrate system for three different kind of system- Accounting/IRG/Reconciliation. I'm glad to have these opportunities. These experience make my working life more varied and interesting.
