My name is Michael, I'm a PhD student from the department of electrical engineering of NCKU, I major in the VLSI testing area right now. I had published two papers in the international conference. I recently wanted to drop out of academic research due to my career options. In my original plan, I wanted to spend 5 years to obtain the PhD degree, and this is the fifth year in my PhD career. Still I'm not quite sure when I can obtain my PhD degree. With the consideration of my age, I think I need to go back to the industry to keep working to maintain the economic situation now. Before I studied PhD, I was an equipment engineer in the Bumping factory of TSMC for 3 years. I had a great experience with tool troubleshooting and tool installation in TSMC FAB, I'm really familiar with how the TSMC factory works and its working environment. I think I can help the tool installation team to build the factory more effectively. Also, I have good communication skills with others and well cooperated. With my working experience in TSMC, I can help with the tool installation process and troubleshooting tools, and I can also accept the expatriation to other countries like USA to do the customer service.
