Hsu Po-Chin

My name is Hsu Po-Chin, and I graduated from the institute of Business Administration at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology. During my studies, in addition to taking courses related to business administration, I also attended classes with Executive Program on weekends to absorb industry knowledge and plan to participate in various competitions.

Afterward, I transitioned to the higher education system, joining the Research and Development Department of National Pingtung University of Science and Technology in early 2018 to assist with the implementation of the International Industry-Academia Alliance and the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Industrial Park Competitiveness Enhancement Project (project execution and manufacturer guidance in 2018 and 2019).

These two projects were my main focus. Our primary work involved guiding local Pingtung companies (Pingtung Science Park, Pingnan Industrial Park) on projects related to technical assistance, product development/improvement, on-the-job training courses, and student internships. We also facilitated collaborations for local companies to participate in overseas exhibitions and media partnerships. The cumulative project results over the two years are as follows:
2018: Project amount NT$800,000 / 20 student internships / Assisted companies in obtaining government subsidies of NT$4,136,000
2019: Project amount NT$850,000 / 21 student internships / Assisted companies in obtaining government subsidies of NT$5,123,000

After two years of project execution, I continued to serve in the Department of Mechanical Engineering on campus, assisting the department in managing internship factories, student internship planning and guidance, and corporate consulting services.

My main focus was on refining the details of student internships, including assisting students in writing internship resumes, arranging lectures by industry HR experts, providing pre-internship briefings, and offering student guidance and troubleshooting during the internship.

After finishing my work at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, I leveraged my experience in writing and executing plans to start an online micro-business, combining it with my family's grocery store.

Having long been interested in online marketing, I began by writing online articles, sharing my personal interests and experiences unboxing and reviewing related products, operating the business with a combination of online and physical store models.

After gaining trust and influence through online sharing, I then began selling the products.
