My name is Jennifer Wei.
Since August 2023, I have been serving as the Executive Assistant to the Director at Merica Junior, a children's English and talent program under the Merica Group, which specializes in study abroad programs, educational tours, and agency services.
My primary responsibilities include course marketing and promotion, managing social media platforms, and organizing regular extracurricular activities, employee training seminars, staff trips, and meetings. I excel at editing event photos and videos and uploading them to the social media platforms. During the summer programs, I also support students' off-campus activities.
Working in a children's English and talent program has been an engaging and enriching experience. Communicating with foreign teachers, collaborating with young early childhood educators, and interacting with professional talent instructors have helped me develop interpersonal communication skills.
Before re-entering the workforce, I was a stay-at-home mom for 12 years. Before becoming a full-time mother, I used to work as a wedding planner for three years. Back then I was eager to help the brides-to-be having their dream wedding. I was a good listener with enthusiasm and my job required plenty of observation, communication and discussion. Wedding planning also required collaboration with others and I worked well in a team environment. I also enjoyed making touching wedding films for the newlyweds and most important of all, keeping the wedding running smoothly. After quitting my job and became a full-time mother of two, I dedicated myself exclusively to my family. Doing all kinds of tasks throughout the day makes me a experienced multitask-er. I enjoy being the problem-solver in the family and it's a rewarding job.
This year, I am ready to take on new challenges and am excited about the opportunity to join Yo-Kai Express. I look forward to contributing my skills, keeping pace with an innovative company, and growing together. Thank you.
