- My task here at Yunlin as A 'WTG Support Engineer - O&M Package' is a specialist who provides technical, contractual, and logistical support for the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs). This role involves managing service providers, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance, coordinating logistics for spare parts and services, and managing O&M contracts to guarantee the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of wind farms.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues with wind turbines. Perform diagnostics, repairs, and component replacements to maintain optimal performance. Analyse operational data to identify issues and improve efficiency.
- Contract Management: Managing contracts with service providers, ensuring technical and contractual compliance. Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and challenge contractors to achieve targets. Support the procurement process and administration of larger O&M contracts.
- Logistics & Procurement: Manage the O&M warehouse, including ordering materials, tools, and spare parts. Develop and implement logistical strategies for the operational phase, such as O&M base setup.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations. Coordinate and follow up on daily maintenance activities, both onshore and offshore. Liaise with various teams, including other O&M teams and external parties.
- Asset Management: Manage the lifecycle of wind farm assets, from pre-construction to commercial operation. Support the definition and implementation of the O&M strategy.

- My task as a senior construction manager is the link between our site team and supplier Siemens with the project manager and director. My most significant responsibility as a construction manager at Skyborn is to ensure the project is built safely and within the agreed timeframe and budget. Furthermore, I am responsible for upholding safety standards with our HSE specialist team.
- Organising and performing construction work, all site activities, including resource planning. Responsible for time schedule, budget control and interdisciplinary coordination of the installation package team and compliance with the relevant scope and Vessel Contract provisions.
- Support Senior Project Management with advice, guidance, and actions. Provide CDM compliance advice, management, and audits. Contribute to the development of the offshore installation strategy, both with the other Package Managers and the scope Contractor.
- Contribute to the identification and management of technical and commercial risks, issues and impacts of the project. Provide scope installation input into the rest of the project packages during the design phase and define the working interfaces with them.
- Support the Contract Manager in the preparation of variation orders and claims. Quality Management – Warrant the transportation and installation of the components in accordance with the Employer’s specification and relevant regulations, standards, and codes.
