• Founded the FinTech Study Group within GDSC, filling a gap for students passionate about the intersection of technology, math, and finance.
• Facilitated a platform for members to deepen their knowledge, support one another, and identify potential future collaborators.
• Cultivated a membership of 25 enthusiastic students for the current semester.
• Managed the study group, which is segmented into four key areas:

1. Quantitative Trading (also served as the team leader for this segment)

2. Introduction to FinTech

3. Data Analysis

4. AI in Financial Applications

• Supervised the members to produce weekly reading summaries, with one report from each segment, which are subsequently shared on the NCCU FinTech Study Group's Medium platform.
• Planned special sessions such as "Coffee Chats" with guest speakers in relevant fields.
• Arranged a mid-term visit to Bloomberg for an industry experience.

• Developed and implemented a trading strategy using the Taiwan Futures Index (TXF) based on a modified futures holding cost model from my Derivative Products course.
• Completed the project "TXF-Taiwan Futures Strategy: Practical Application of the Futures Cost of Carry Model", achieving an annual return of ~25% (2019-2022). Currently refining to address high max drawdown during major market corrections. [Refer to LinkedIn attachment for details]
• Gained substantial knowledge and hands-on experience in algorithmic trading."

• Managed a team of 12 members to formulated and actively participated in the academic-related activities of the Economics Camp, which had over 100 participants.
• Planned courses on macroeconomic topics and served as one of the lecturers, thus speaking to an audience of over 100 students.
• Designed and prepared the investment games as well as the related courses for the participants.
• Identified and invited distinguished speakers both within and outside the university (2 outstanding senior students, HowHow, the Deputy General Manager of Yuanta Investment, and two professors from the Economics Department).
• Organized and prepared for 3 corporate visits (Taiwan Institute of Economic Research, EY, and UMC).
