• Using the optical simulation software 'Lighttool' to perform optical lighting simulations, including IR uniformity, button ring, and status LED, with products including Bosch, Vivint, and Verkada.
• AA (Active Alignment) production: Find the optimal z-offset and adjust the parameters of the AA machine to achieve the best yield optimization.
• Optical Sensor Verification: Select an appropriate optical sensor and design an experiment to verify its functionality, including ALS (Ambient Light Sensor), PIR (Passive Infrared Sensor), and TOF (Time of Flight).
• Factory Yield Improvement: Design a DOE (Design of Experiments) for product debugging and Failure Analysis (FA) to optimize factory yield.

• Optical system design: Based on sample features to choose camera, Lens and light source (including Ring light, spotlight, etc.)

• During my time at CMIT, I went to Shenzhen, China to demonstrate our new AOI machine in 2016
• I was the designer of this new Optical Inspection System 'Bent & Curved Glass (2.5D)'
