Leading the techno team that primarily collaborated with the Program Manager, Marketing, and Design (ID & UX) teams for the ME ingredient development. Transferred the feasible design/module to the ME Execution team for selected product(s) on a targeted schedule to meet the roadmap plan.
  • Coached and developed team members to effectively deliver valuable components aligned with the annual roadmap plan.
  • Created modules and designs for new Tablet users. Several soft material and protective designs were delivered and are now available on Logitech Tablet keyboards and cases. Classic leather and various (PU, stretchable, or woven) fabric lamination/forming designs were seamlessly and creatively integrated into the Tablet folio or folio keyboard.
  • Introduced rapid tooling methods and technologies to meet the aggressive product cycle in the Tablet market.
  • Developed and consolidated agile prototyping processes for both defined and undefined tests and front-end discussions.
  • Sourced and qualified new vendors, collaborated on our new application, and facilitated their introduction for manufacturing.

  • Coached and developed team members to deliver a full range of Ligate keyboard (KB) products for the global market.
  • Developed and maintained an infrastructure system that includes collaborative design, guidelines, reviews, and verification, from the inception of in-house keyboard production.
  • Created and launched unique KB products, such as indoor solar-powered KB, high-end crystal-like (acrylic) dingo KB, mini KB for the living room, "washable" (waterproof) KB, metallic KB, and more. Successfully implemented various tooling/molding processes and modern technologies for molding or metal parts to meet the requirements of Marketing and ID designers.
  • Innovated and developed laptop accessories, including stands with multiple viewing angles, soft and comfortable leg pads, cooling fans, cable management, and USB docking functions. Gained experience in verifying enhanced speaker functionality and conducting acoustic (fan vibration) noise and chamber air-leak tests.
  • Seamlessly implemented design software, including structural, molding, and thermal CAR programs, as well as 3D tolerancing (CE/To) tools. Effectively led team members in utilizing hardware tools, such as high-speed cameras, poly jet 3D printing machines, 2D/3D scanning/measurement, and various laboratory or measurement equipment to improve design quality and qualification while reducing lead time.
  • Delivered products that achieved good margins through innovative designs, along with cost-effective and high-quality manufacturing, even as the PC industry faced decline.
