Liu Yi-Cheng

I was born to a family combined with medication and classical music. My father is a CV doctor, who is always strict with me. However, he became a role model for me when he was really care about the symptoms of his patients and treat them with his professionalism and great tenderness. Furthermore,my mother ,who is a piano teacher,always give me endless love and support. I was then influenced by my mom to learn violin and piano ,which developed the habit of studying while listening to the classical music,helping me focus on the work.

In the life of university,I was eager to participate in some extracurricular activities about sports and public service. Experience of basketball team brought me the outstanding performance by working with others to meet common goals. Furthermore, I participated in the club activity for rural service in the summer of 2023, which help me learn about what would the patients need aside from medical help, such as mental support and living care.

To sum up,in my university life from a freshman to a senior,I am devoted to making a balance between schoolwork and extracurricular activities. Other than professional knowledge, I also learn about many skills that will used clinically in the future such as communication that cannot be taught in the classroom.
