Personality & Family
I feel fortunate. Although the conditions of my family during my upbringing were not ideal, my mother's optimism and positive education guided me along the right path. The environment in which I grew up required me to be independent, but the experience I gained later in my career taught me to cultivate an open-minded attitude, accepting others' opinions rather than just working hard without direction. As for my own family, perhaps in a past life, I saved a country, because I met a considerate and family-oriented woman who was willing to start a family with me. We have two children, a 9-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son. Throughout my career, in order to afford household expenses and raise my family, I switched jobs multiple times.
Career
Three years after graduating from school in my 20s, I was clear that I would dedicate my career to the semiconductor testing field. Along the way, I worked for many companies within this field, and with experience from different companies and positions, I became not only familiar with various testers but also gained an understanding of the initial concepts of test methods for different types of chips. These experiences have broadened my vision in the industry. From basic routine maintenance at test houses to program development at IC design houses, these experiences have been invaluable and have significantly contributed to my ability to arrange tasks with a much more comprehensive overview. As a result, I have become quite flexible in testing-related positions.
Outlook & Expectations
At the beginning of my testing career, a senior colleague once said something that left a deep impression on me: "Our job in testing is to truly reflect the test results. If the result is a bin1 pass, it is a bin1 pass; if it is a fail, it is a fail! If you are confident that the test results are correct, you should not retreat just because of a low yield being highlighted!" Even though I am now at a certain age, learning is a lifelong journey. I still need to continue improving my expertise, as having enough professional confidence is necessary when defending the correctness of test results against others. When it comes to persuading others, another crucial point is communication and coordination. The more people and situations I encounter, the more I realize the importance of communication and coordination in the workplace. This will be a goal for me to continue improving, in addition to enhancing my expertise, while proceeding with the motto: "Stick to the path I've chosen and do the right thing!"
