- Building a specific EPI tool system at customer sites (Tier 0 to Tier 2).
- Tier 0: Integrate the subsystems and connect the metrology equipment according to Applied Materials’ proprietary IP guidelines.
- Tier 0: Mount chambers to the mainframe, install gas lines, electrical wiring cables, and power cables.
- Tier 1: Perform start-up items such as chamber process kit installation, including leveling and laser alignment, robot calibration, gas flow calibration, temperature calibration, signal and power cable routing, wafer transfer pressure setting, test system functionality, parameter optimization, and DC voltage measurement.
- Tier 1: Perform system start-up, utilize diagnostic techniques, documents, and test equipment to verify EPI process results and equipment performance.
- Tier 0/1: Resolve hardware issues, software issues, and maintain a field-ready environment.
- Tier 2: Provide preventive and corrective maintenance, and co-work with PSE.
- Document technical actions, and create job-specific reports.
- Improved customer satisfaction by providing timely and efficient technical support for hardware and software issues.
- Managed on-site installation of a new tool, leading to improved efficiency and reduced downtime.
