Manufacturing Engineer

Micron
09.2024 - Current
  • Production Line Control (Monitored real-time status of production lines, including WIP flow, cycle time, and Gating. Ensured daily production schedules were met by overseeing production progress. Managed immediate abnormalities in production processes, assisting in troubleshooting issues such as WIP congestion and machine downtime.)
  • Cycle Time / Throughput Improvement (Analyzed cycle time and manufacturing efficiency to identify improvement opportunities. Collaborated with Process, Equipment, and Quality teams to identify process bottlenecks and implement optimization solutions.)
  • Data Analysis & Report Generation (Utilized simulation scheduling tools (e.g., APS, Toolviews, ETO) to extract and analyze manufacturing scheduling data. Created daily and weekly reports to track key production KPIs, such as machine utilization rate, yield, and shipment completion rate.)
  • On-floor Support & Emergency Response (Provided immediate support for unexpected production line issues, including equipment malfunctions, WIP pile-ups, power outages, and other emergencies. Worked closely with Equipment and Process Engineers to address and resolve machine and process abnormalities.)
  • System Operation & Optimization MES / Dispatch System (Managed work order flows and machine dispatching through the MES Manufacturing Execution System. Optimized system processes for enhanced production line efficiency and smoother workflow.)
  • Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Development & Employee Training (Developed and maintained Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and effective production processes. Trained operators and technicians to ensure correct procedure adherence and product quality.)
  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges.
  • Developed technical documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and engineering drawings to support manufacturing operations.

Equipment Engineer

Micron
