Hello, my name is Wen-Jie Li, and I am from Kaohsiung. I am an optimistic and outgoing person with strong communication and teamwork skills. I have extensive experience in instrument maintenance and data analysis and enjoy taking on new technological challenges, continuously learning, and improving myself.
After completing my military service, I joined SGS Taiwan and initially worked in the Drug Abuse Testing Department. In 2021, I transferred to the Chemical Laboratory Center, accumulating nearly nine years of experience.
During my time in the Drug Abuse Testing Department, I was responsible for drug management, sample analysis, instrument maintenance, quality control, TFDA audits, and method development. Given the high volume of analyses, complex sample preparation, and massive amounts of data, I took the initiative to develop a semi-automated data interpretation method. By extracting instrument data and applying Excel formulas, I was able to check whether results met quality control standards. This innovation reduced the daily data analysis time for each GC/MS instrument from 30 minutes to just 5-10 minutes, significantly improving efficiency and reducing errors.
In 2021, I transferred to the Chemical Laboratory Center, where I focused on AP/APEO and PFAS testing using the LC/MSMS (Agilent 6475 Triple Quadrupole with the 1290 Infinity II LC). Due to the large sample volume and complex quality control documentation, past procedures relied heavily on manual entry, which was time-consuming and prone to errors. Drawing from my previous experience in the Drug Abuse Testing Department, I helped implement an automated data entry system, streamlining workflows and improving overall team efficiency.
Through these experiences, I have also developed strong instrument maintenance skills, including servicing Agilent 7890B GC & 5977A Series GC/MSD (replacing liners, septa, columns, filaments, EMs, pump oil, and ion source cleaning) as well as performing consumable replacements and maintenance for LC/MSMS systems.
Additionally, I highly value teamwork and excel in listening and understanding others' needs to build strong interpersonal relationships. Even when dealing with difficult communication scenarios, I maintain smooth collaboration through patience and professionalism.
Currently, I am eager to take on new challenges, continue learning, and grow further. This is why I am highly enthusiastic about the "Field Service Engineer (Southern Region)" position at your company. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience operating Agilent instruments, becoming proficient in their software and maintenance processes, while also developing cross-department communication and problem-solving skills. I believe these experiences will allow me to quickly adapt and contribute my expertise to provide high-quality technical services for your company.
Thank you for taking the time to read my autobiography. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to your team.
