In my research project, I used Rsoft to model a square-profile annular waveguide. The simulation successfully demonstrated that a Gaussian beam entering the annular waveguide, which is surrounded by silicon nitride material and made of silicon, transforms into a Bessel beam distribution. Furthermore, after exiting the waveguide, the beam is able to continue propagating forward in a concentrated manner, achieving optimal parameters for the optical wavelength and waveguide width.
