Careful Fire Protection Engineer dedicated to verifying system and personnel wellbeing across all installations. Provides reliable and consistent data on system performance expectations and enhancement requirements. Trusted to protect property and lives by executing meticulous, hands-on verification of fire and safety system operational integrity.
I worked as a supervising engineer at Hwareh Fire Engineering Company, mainly responsible for the construction of the Siliconware new factory building project. My duties included coordinating construction sites, confirming construction progress, drawing up completion drawings for fire protection, conducting fire protection completion inspections, and estimating bills of quantities (such as fire protection piping and wiring lengths, construction equipment days, equipment quantities, and specifications).
During this period, I initially had little understanding of the electrical aspects of fire alarm systems, such as the use of wires. For example, I was unfamiliar with the use of different types of wires such as flame-retardant wires (FR) and heat-resistant wires (HR) for devices like the fire alarm control panel (PBL) above the fire hydrant box, which includes fire alarm indicators, sirens, emergency phone sockets, manual alarm buttons, and emergency power sockets. However, through diligent observation of the wiring methods by the technicians on-site, I have gained a clear understanding of the wiring methods up to this point.
During my time at Marketech International Corp., I worked in the System Engineering Business Department, Project Division, Instrumentation and Electrical Group. My main responsibility was to estimate and quote fire engineering projects for bidding purposes and to raise queries regarding the fire design drawings provided by the client to ensure the accuracy of the project.
