I was born into a middle-class family in Taoyuan and now live in New Taipei City. From junior high school onwards, I lived as a boarding student in Hualien until completing my graduate studies. I earned a degree in Molecular Biology and Human Genetics from Tzu Chi University.
Adjusting to boarding school life in junior high was challenging as I adapted to newfound responsibilities such as managing tasks independently, maintaining dormitory cleanliness, hand-washing laundry, and navigating interactions with classmates of diverse personalities. This experience taught me self-reliance in handling academic and unexpected challenges.
My education at a distinctive school enriched my studies in humanities and involvement in volunteer activities. I joined a cultural exchange program in Singapore and Malaysia, organized by the school, where I volunteered at leprosy hospitals and nursing homes. Addressing misconceptions about leprosy through empathetic engagement underscored the importance of compassionate care and emotional support in healthcare settings.
Aspiring to a service-oriented career as a flight attendant, I recognize the significance of empathy in addressing customer needs and managing crises effectively. While I acknowledge room for growth in crisis management and empathy, I am committed to continuous learning and gaining experience to excel in this role.
