Dear Interviewer,
My name is Arthur Liu, I am currently working as a Customer Service Engineer at Carl Zeiss, specializing in technical support and customer relationship management within the semiconductor industry. I grew up in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and studied Chemistry during my school period. During my research projects, I had the opportunity to work with various instruments (TEM,SEM,XRD,BET,CV, GC-MS,ICP) so I gained considerable experience in operating and maintaining. This also sparked my interest in machine maintenance and application, which in turn influenced my career planning. As a result, I dive into the field of semiconductor equipment.
With nearly five years of professional experience, I have developed strong technical expertise as well as communication and coordination skills. I am highly motivated to continue growing my career at the intersection of technology and customer engagement. I hope my resume gives you a better understanding of who I am, and I also hope my skills can contribute to bringing greater benefits to the company. Thank you for taking the time to review my resume. I look forward to the opportunity for an interview with you. I am eager to bring my technical expertise, problem-solving mindset, and strong communication skills to your organization, and to continue contributing to advancements in both technology and customer-focused solutions.
Thank you for taking the time to review my application. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss my qualifications in greater detail.
In my current role at ZEISS, my responsibilities extend beyond routine equipment maintenance and on-duty support. My customer base shifted from back-end metrology to front-end manufacturing processes, where equipment requirements differ significantly. I am deeply involved in discussions with customers regarding tool improvement and development, while also coordinating closely with both customer sites and headquarters. This role requires a high level of engagement, precise manpower planning, and adaptability. Although this differs somewhat from my previous training in advanced packaging, the core principle remains unchanged: placing customer needs as the top priority.
As a Team Leader at Bruker, I was responsible for managing semiconductor-related products and services. My role included equipment maintenance, algorithm optimization, and customer relationship management. I successfully led multiple technical projects by coordinating team resources and providing technical guidance. Through continuous improvements in service quality and technical support, I helped secure long-term customer contracts(three-year) , significantly enhancing both company performance and customer satisfaction.
At the Pesticide Testing Center, I worked as an Engineer responsible for operating analytical instruments and supporting pesticide testing and quality control. This role strengthened my hands-on technical skills and reinforced the importance of standardized procedures and accuracy.
