Project: Transportation and Installation of Offshore Wind Turbines Foundation (FOU) for Yunlin Offshore Wind Farm (Taiwan)

Role: Installation Lead / Operations Engineer

• 8m dia. of Monopile (Foundation). Weight ranging from 1740 MT to 980 MT
• Focal point in the design, fabrication, testing and mobilization of the newly built monopile installation equipment i.e. Upending Tool, Upending Hinged and Gripper Frame to comply with engineering and project requirements.
• Prepared technical procedures and methodology for foundation installation to comply with client and local authority’s requirement.
• Facilitate the engineering and operational readiness for monopile loadout and transportation scopes.
• Coordinate daily operations in Taiwan and actively looking for improvement on the overall operations using lesson learnt sessions and feedback from stakeholders.
• Initiate contact with local suppliers for equipment and material sourcing to support operations in Taiwan.

• Lead, plan, monitor and manage engineering and technical scopes to ensure all deliverables are met within project requirements and safe project execution
• Responsible to create and manage the interface between engineering team and operational requirements to optimize execution in an appropriate, cost effective way
• Manage operational aspects including marine spread, logistic, procurement, fabrication, manpower and production
• Focal point for technical interface with internal and external stakeholders e.g Clients, subcontractors, marine warranty surveyor, authorities and regulatory bodies
• Review technical proposal, procedures, specifications, contract requirements and identify key project deliverables and plan for timely delivery.

Project: Transportation & Removal for F23SW Decommissioning Project

Role: Operations Engineer

• First subsea wellhead decommissioning in South East Asia.
• Involved in decommissioning of subsea X-mas tree and components. Removal of debris cap, production guide base (PGB) and 30” Ø multi-layer wellhead casing. Internal cutting using Internal Multi String Cutter (IMCT) and recovery using Wellhead Recovery Tool (WHRT) and transportation to shore.
• Diver-less decommissioning campaign – ROV assisted only and subsea tooling for subsea wellhead disengagement.

Project: Engineering, Preparation, Removal & Disposal (EPRD) services for DANA and D30 facilities decommissioning project

Role: Operations Engineer

• Full fledge offshore platform decommissioning utilizing internal and external cutting tools e.g. Proserv’s Internal Pipe Cutter (IPC), Diamond Wire Saw (DWS), Soil Plug Removal Tool (SPRT). Recovery on transportation barge and reefing structures in-situ. Scopes on topside de-oiling, flushing for hydrocarbon free.

Various project with Clients i.e. Petronas, Shell, Hess, Petrofac, PTTEP, MMHE | 2008 to 2017

• Performed various jackets and topsides installation i.e. side and stern-lift, double block upending, jacket launching, tripod, wellhead platform, modules, MSF, bridge and flare tower installation, grouting works.
• FPSO installation, decommissioning, mooring chain connections, flexible risers
• Worked with Fabrication yard team to facilitate offshore structure fabrication to cater for offshore installation requirements
